Stephanie’s paintings now feature an impressionistic realism, where she draws inspiration from nature, whilst her minimalist still-life art works evoke and atmosphere of space and calm.

Wayne Roberts

Wayne is a tonalist painter. Painting directly from observation, sometimes through squinted eyes, and paints what he sees, in an attempt to create a “real” life effect.

Brenda Stace Chat

Primarily a painter and sculptor, Brenda has exhibited her work in countries such as Germany and South Korea, and earned International acclaim.

Ruth Stone - Artist

Ruth Stone

Ruth is a painter, with a passion for drawing and has been hung in a number of national painting and drawing prizes. The Portia Geach Portrait Prize, three times selected for The Salon Des Refuse and the Dobell Drawing Prize 2019 and the Country Energy Landscape Prize, with the selected drawing going to the CEO of ING Bank, Warsaw.

Drawings & Musings invites visitors into the intimate space where ideas first take shape — through sketches, studies, observations and visual wanderings that reveal the artist’s hand and mind at work.

Drawing is often described as the purest form of artistic expression, and this exhibition offers a rare glimpse into the creative journey from first spark to finished piece.

'A Thousand Words Gallery' is a portal for rolling events with powerful stories. From art exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, photography and ceramics - to installations and live events, the space will become a dynamic creative hub in Carcoar.
